The
Small Aerial Series is an earlier series of work, mostly watercolor or mixed media, that is
loosely inspired by the landscape from the air. In the west, the
patchwork of square mile sections of land when viewed from the air form such
interesting varieties of patterns that stretch for miles in all
directions. There is also the fascinating interplay between Nature's
fractal order and man's Euclidean geometry that I find very visually
