CONTEMPORARY AMERICAN PAINTINGS FROM THE LARGE AERIALS SERIES

The Large Aerials Series was inspired by the western landscape as viewed from the air. Again however, as with all of my work, the series is also about painting.  The aerial view of the landscape allows us to see the interesting juxtaposition between nature's fractal geometry and the Euclidean geometry man lays over the top. What an enjoyable interplay, and one that is mimicked in painting as the painter works to make this goo with a fractal sense to it, conform to the geometry of the artist's vision.  Contact Stan Hennigh Fine Art about any of these paintings.
